To:

Shri Ramakrishna Hegde,

Chief Minister of Karnataka,

Vidhan Soudha, Bangalore 560 001 (Karnataka)

Regd. Post Ack. Due 24.7.1988

Respected Sir,

I have the greatest respect for your bold step in stopping the nude worship at Renukamba Temple at Chandragutti, even inspite of the fact that the communal elements tried to aggravate and exploit the situation.

I am happy to tell you that in India no other State Government or the Central Government had dared to take such a bold stand in stopping such barbarous practices for fear of antagonizing the fanatics for fear of loosing votes. They forget that only such bold actions would endear them to the people.

You very well know the unfortunate death of Lokayya Poojari a student of the Lokaseva Junior College, Alike, run by Satya Sai Baba. Our team investigated into the matter and our conclusion leads it to murder. You know of the murder of a nurse Marykutty in Kerala and you will find how the church tried to suppress the murder and tried to change the path of investigation. Father Antony Lazer has been punished by the Quilon District & Sessions Judge. No one can suppress or transform the biological need of sex and if any one claim himself to be a celebate he is a lier and a hypocrite.

A news has appeared in Deccan Herald dated 23-5-1988 wherein the Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister, A Lakshmisagar had told the assembly that the death of Lokayya Poojari was not a murder but a suicide. I shall be glad if you will kindly send me a certified copy of the complete inquiry report which has revealed that the death was a suicide. It is really surprising that when Maharashtra Government was going to accept the Sai Baba model of education, the education in Sai Baba's College could not give Lokayya Poojari courage and strength to live. For the certified copy of the report and to send the same to me by Regd. Post Ack.Due, I am enclosing herewith a postal order made in your favour for Rs.20/-. Hoping to get the report early, and with my best wishes.

Yours sincerely,

Encl: Postal order for Rs.20/-

B. Premanand.
